Lindon, Utah — January , 2021— Rapid Reboot is excited to announce that its all-new, FDA-cleared, REGEN™ Compression Therapy System has been named a winner of the 2021 BIG Innovation Award, presented by the Business Intelligence Group.
“More than ever, the global society relies on innovation to help progress humanity and make our lives more productive, healthy and comfortable,” said Maria Jimenez, chief operating officer of the Business Intelligence Group. “We are thrilled to be honoring Rapid Reboot as they are one of the organizations leading this charge and helping humanity progress.”
Rapid Reboot’s current compression recovery technology is used by some of the world’s most elite athletes and professional athletic trainers across a number of sports. The all-new REGEN, however, gives unprecedented control and customization. It is the first to feature complete Chamber Control, with control over the pressures and hold times for each individual chamber. The REGEN also features Speed Control, Cycle Rest Rontrol, multiple Modes, Rapid Reboot App compatibility, saved Programs, up to 4 hours of battery life, a 6” LCD HD touchscreen, and Rapid Deflate, a first-of-its-kind feature in which the device mechanically deflates the attachments.
“With patent-pending features and cutting-edge software, including a first-of-its-kind operating system, the REGEN is the smartest and most advanced recovery tool in the world,” says Robbie Jenkins, CMO for Rapid Reboot. “We were originally on track to unveil it earlier in 2020 in Barcelona, Spain, as part of a joint presentation with Google at WMC 2020. However, with the world-wide pandemic, 2020 was a series of unfortunate setbacks and delays. But now, with full FDA clearance and recognition from the Business Intelligence Group, the REGEN is poised to be one of the standout innovations of 2021.”
The REGEN is the new flagship model of Rapid Reboot’s pneumatic, dynamic compression systems. Together, the REGEN and inflatable attachments provide sequential, distal-to-proximal compression. The compression system mimics and enhances the body’s natural processes to boost circulation, improve lymphatic function, and flush toxins and other by-products from the body’s extremities. This accelerates healing, reduces muscle pains, and speeds up recovery, making it a critical tool for athletes as well as people with chronic conditions such as lymphedema, venous insufficiency, and diabetes.
Rapid Reboot has also launched the GENESIS™, which features up to 2 hours of battery life, Remote Control via the Rapid Reboot App, a 6” LCD HD touchscreen, and universal voltage input. The features of the GENESIS more closely mirror Rapid Reboot’s CLASSIC control unit, while the REGEN features a number of new features and settings for unprecedented control.
Both the REGEN and the GENESIS feature a housing that is 35% smaller and up to 30% lighter than the CLASSIC while also featuring more technology, including a patent-pending valve system designed by an MIT engineer. What is really innovative, too, is that the smaller device delivers the same overall performance in terms of compression speed and pressure ranges as the much larger CLASSIC.
Organizations from across the globe were nominated for consideration in the BIG Innovation Awards. Nominations were then judged by a select group of business leaders and executives who volunteer their time and expertise to score submissions.
