Find your perfect recovery system

Every system serves a purpose

We tested our Regen against the Normatec Elite to see exactly how they match up across the specs that are most relevant for athletes. Watch as David and Logan perform the experiment, then tear apart both control units to show you what’s inside.

Reviews from customers who tried both

As a retired college athlete, I used Normatec boots for years but found Rapid Reboot to be the best on the market. Their compression boots deliver unmatched pressure.
Kamryn · 2024
I previously used Normatec but found it slow and lacking in intensity, the RR Regen has twice the compression and I love the deflate feature for when the session is over.
Andrew Flicker · 2021
I used to have the Normatec system and this system is so much quieter, stronger and fast on start up. So glad I made the switch!
S. Blue · 2020
I am so glad I bought the Rapid Reboot. I saved over $400, received free shipping and the product is as good if not better than Normatec.
Matt Celone · 2019
Previously I had only used Normatec compression boots. The rapid reboots are much better. More compression and feel better recovery afterwards.

Watch the Head-to-Head Test

The full video covers the timed test, then opens up both pumps to show why the hardware inside decides what the boots can do.

01

14 Cycles vs 2

In ten minutes, the Regen made it through 14 complete cycles. The Normatec Elite completed 2.

02

Bigger Motor, Bigger Valves

David opens up the systems to compare motor and valve size, and explains why bigger might actually be better.

03

Do More Cycles Make a Difference?

What actually happens inside your body as you use a compression therapy system.

04

Who Each is For

Every system has its strengths, and every person has different needs. Watch to hear why David engineered the Regen exactly the way he did.

How we tested

Pressure
100 mmHg on both units
Zone Boost
Off
Chambers
All chambers on both systems set to 100 mmHg
Run
Both systems at once, on one 10-minute timer
Counted
Complete bottom-to-top compression cycles

Both units ran at 100 mmHg—not the REGEN’s 200 mmHg maximum. The cycle gap comes from speed alone.

Problems the Regen solves

Squeezing the air out of attachments post-session

Squeezing the air out of attachments post-session

One college athletic trainer told us he used to travel with a shop vac before finding Rapid Reboot. Our patented Rapid Deflate not only makes deflating more convenient, but also increases the lifespan of your attachments significantly. No other system offers auto-deflate capabilities.

Patent protected

I want higher pressure on zone 4, but not on zone 2...

Athletes, we know the need for localized pressure — or a lack of pressure in another area. Rapid Reboot is the only system on the market that lets you set pressure chamber by chamber.

Yes, your knee can be at zero while your thigh or foot is at 200, and vice versa. You have complete control for maximum comfort, effectiveness, and speed of recovery.

Patent protected

Horsepower.

Sure, the Regen is portable — but we didn’t sacrifice power in order to go cordless. The Elite reaches a max pressure of 110 mmHg in one zone, and 100 in every other zone.

With the Regen, every zone can reach 200 mmHg. And with a faster cycle speed, it moves more blood through the body more effectively, so you can bounce back faster from soreness, injury, and inflammation.

Let’s get specific

The specs and why they matter

Thinking of switching?

Fair questions and honest answers.

Is 200 mmHg safe?

Yes. Rapid Reboot systems are FDA-cleared, and 200 mmHg is the maximum pressure, but not the requirement. The REGEN allows you to set each chamber to the ideal pressure between 0-200 mmHg in increments of 10 mmHg. You get to choose exactly the pressure your body needs. If you have a medical condition, talk with your doctor about intermittent pneumatic compression first.

I already own a Normatec. Is switching worth it?

Are you an athlete, trainer, coach, or healthcare professional? If so, it’s worth considering.

We engineered the Regen to fill the gap of not having enough pressure, control, and efficiency to match the intensity you train with. And with the 30-day money-back guarantee, you can run the REGEN against your Normatec at home and decide with your own legs.

What about cordless convenience?

The Regen is engineered for effectiveness, and we made it as portable as possible while doing so. Will there come a day when we can offer all the capabilities of the Regen in a cordless system? One day, it might be possible. But until then, we refuse to sacrifice performance for being a little bit more portable. If recovery is the reason you’re buying, it’s an easy trade.

What if it’s not for me?

Every Rapid Reboot order comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee with return shipping covered, free U.S. shipping on orders over $75, a 2-year control unit warranty, and free attachment size exchanges within 30 days.
